Quick Release Knot on Mon Jul 28, 2008 10:39 am
Here are 5 steps which will hopefully help you tie a quick release knot. (excuse the rather crude drawings
will try and get some actual photos
)
1
Start by looping the rope round the post, ring, twine etc. Hold the loose end in your right hand and the 'Clasp end' In the left.

2
Cross the loose end underneath the clasp end.

4
Cross it back over the top.

5
Pull the loose end up through the loop you have made.

**Remember to not leave your horse un-attended for too long whilst it's tied up and don't leave the rope too long incase it gets tangled in the rope**
