I read in a magazine a cheaper way to wash your rugs so I thought I'd post it here.
What you need:
your rug
gate/fence
rug proofer
pressure washer
Step 1:
Sweep off any bedding dried mud etc.
Step 2:
Hang rug over fence or gate.
Step 3:
Spray rug with pressure washer, it will bring out deep grease and dirt aswell as surface dirt.
Step 4:
Finish off with giving the rug a new coat of proofer.
And voila! A clean rug with out the risk of clogging your machine or paying for a proffesional wash.
